Oh, that healthcare reform...

Well, Congress passed the healthcare reform bill.  Several states are threatening to sue the federal government challenging it on Constitutional grounds.  Maybe I should get back to analyzing the Constitution to see if the states have recourse and whether our founding fathers would have thought this bill to be too much government. 

Wow, this is depressing

It Is Now Mathematically Impossible To Pay Off The U.S. National Debt.  This also shows just how convoluted our economy really is.  I think this nation is now screwed.

Come on Spring!

Even in VA, the snow has been nuts this winter.  Don't worry, spring is around the corner....I hope.

OOOOOH, this is nifty!

Early draft of the Constitution found in Philadelphia.  Anyone else excited about this find?

In other news, it seems that government has grown to epic proportions.  Seeing how the government runs now, I think it may be in its best interests to cut back a bit.  Can you imagine how unwieldy it would be if the health care legislation were to be passed?

...and all that jazz.  How do you think President Obama has done so far?  Anyone else think he promised a little too much?

With all due resepct, Mr. President, there's nothing wrong with making small improvements to reach a large goal.  And while we're at it, think you guys can calm down on this health care deal?  We're sick of hearing about how you need to pass it for our good.  Frankly, it can't be that great if you're trying to sneak it by us, by any means necessary.
